What is the United Taekwondo Association (UTA)?
The United Taekwondo Association is headed by Chairman Grandmaster T W Shin 8th Dan, one of the highest graded Korean Masters in Great Britain. He is one of the innovators and mainstays of competitive WTF Taekwondo in Great Britain today and is widely acknowledged as one of the finest technical and traditional WTF Taekwondo Masters in the country! He has witnessed many changes in WTF Taekwondo over the years and has seen it change from a minority sport to its new status as an Olympic event. He has produced some of our finest WTF Taekwondo players and in his role of BTCB poomsae judging co-ordinator has helped to shape the future of many others from other clubs and associations.

5th place at the 2008 World Championships. International technical judge.
Vice Chairman - Master Peter Johnson 6th Dan.
Master Johnson has been training in Taekwondo for over twenty five years. He achieved his 6th Dan grade in Korea and has competed at various levels in Taekwondo and other martial arts. Master Johnson runs the Stoke UTA Taekwondo Schools throughout Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire. Current National Poomse team member and represented Great Britain at the 9th European Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in November 2009. International technical judge.
Secretary - Master David Bailey 7th Dan.
Master Bailey has represented Great Britain at the World Championships, European Championships, World Games, European Cup and 27 other Internationals in 15 different countries. He now concentrates on teaching and promoting Taekwondo in Scotland where he is Chief Instructor at Central TKD Academy. Regional Poomse coach for Scotland.
Registrar - Mrs Angie Bailey 4th Dan.
Mrs Angie Bailey is based in Falkirk, Scotland, where she teaches and trains at Central Taekwondo.
Angie deals with all aspects of UTA membership, licences and insurance.
Treasurer - Mr Andy Cawley 4th Dan.
Mr Andy Cawley has been training for many years and teaches Taekwondo in various locations throughout Stoke on Trent.
He is responsible for the United Taekwondo Association accounts. BTCB National technical judge.
Public Relations Officer - Constantino Cesar 4th Dan.
Cesar runs the Milton Keynes UTA Club, he is responsible for the upkeep of the UTA website and any other promotional material required. National Poomse team member 2008, 2009 and represented Great Britain at the 9th European Taekwondo Poomsae Championships in November 2009 . Regional poomse coach for the Eastern region and North London 2008, 2009. Chief Instructor of the Milton Keynes UTA Taekwondo Academy. BTCB National technical judge.
